The hotel Le Meridien sits on one of the most notable avenues in the city, Las Ramblas. In order to capture the spirit of this area; whilst still taking on the brand's celebration of the modernist movement, we designed the rooms and lobby to accentuate the highly contrasted styles of Catalan Modernisme and Mid Century Modernism. This juxtaposition between two completely different design philosophies has resulted in an entirely unique look; which is mid-century style that still shows the spirit of Barcelona.
